Good to know
Questions guests ask.
Where is the house?
In a quiet residential part of Princeville, on Kauaʻi's North Shore. The Makai Golf Course and the Princeville Center shops and grocery store are close by, and Hanalei town is about ten minutes' drive. We send the exact address and directions after you book.
How far is it from the airport?
Līhuʻe Airport (LIH) is about an hour's drive. You'll want a rental car: there's a one-car garage and room in the driveway.
Is the pool heated?
Yes. The saltwater pool is heated, and the spa heats up when you switch it on at the control panel by the lanai. The waterfall and pool lights are on the same panel.
Is it good for kids?
Yes. The pool and yard are fenced, and there's a travel crib and flotation devices. An adult should always be with kids in or near the pool.
What's provided, and what should we bring?
Linens, bath and beach towels, shampoo and conditioner, starter supplies like paper towels and dish soap, a full kitchen with pantry basics, and all the beach gear. Bring groceries and reef-safe sunscreen: Hawaiʻi bans sunscreens with oxybenzone and octinoxate.
What are the house rules?
Up to 10 guests. No pets and no smoking. Please keep the air conditioning on and windows closed to keep out the humidity. Check-out is 10 AM Hawaiʻi time.
